ABSTRACT

Abstract:
Objective: To analyze and explore the correlation between cognitive dysfunction in cerebral small vessel disease and EEG.

Methods: Using September 2017 to September 2019 as the time base, among all patients with cognitive dysfunction of cerebral small vessel disease in our hospital, 60 cases were randomly collected as the object and subject of this study, and set as observation In the same period, 60 healthy people were selected as the control group. The EEG test was performed on the two groups of people, and the EEG test results and the scores of the mental state scale and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale were compared between the two groups.

Results: The normal ratio of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the ratios of marginal, mild abnormality, and moderate to severe abnormality were higher than those of the control group. In the observation group before and after treatment, there were differences in the normal, moderate and mild abnormal items in the EEG results before and after treatment. (F=3.245, 2.321, P=0.000,0.000), the observation group’s memory score, orientation score, computing power score, attention score, language ability score and total score were lower than those of the control group, and the observation group’s executive ability score The scores of naming ability, attention score, calculation ability, language ability score, abstract thinking ability score, delayed recall score, orientation score and total score were all higher than those of the control group (p value <0.05).

Key words: Keywords: cerebral small vessel disease cognitive dysfunction; electroencephalogram; correlation; Montreal cognitive assessment; mental state
